Stephanie Stoute
Stephanie is the Founder of Curio and through its life span has developed a strong passion for advocating for life based and play based learning. This passion has taken a lead role in developing and introducing the Curio Micro School to our Community.
Stephanie’s passion is rooted in her motherhood journey where she is committed to raising children who are happy in life and inspired to be the very best versions of themselves. Stephanie believes that together, we can create a world of critical thinkers who understand the value of being heard and making an impact by “simply” being themselves.

Maddie
Lead Educator,
Curriculum Development
Maddie is a Registered
Early Childhood Educator certified in Children’s Mental Health and holds a Honours Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Early Childhood Studies.
Maddie has a varied
background in childhood teaching, mentorship and coaching and has a passion for helping children discover who they are as individuals. Maddie loves to teach children in an alternative learning environment, putting emphasis on real life based learning experiences.
Adam
Lead Educator,Curriculum Development
Adam is a Registered Forest School Teacher, holds a certificate in Environmental Management and is pursuing his Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Adam has a passion and dedication for teaching children in performing arts, and has spent many years growing his experience with alternative teaching environments. Adam loves teaching science, math, health and wellness and loves being outdoors!
Shannon
PreK Educator,
Program Development
Shannon has a strong
background in visual arts and filmmaking, which inspires her to bring creativity and organization to the Curio classroom.
As a mother of two, she’s
passionate about understanding children’s behavior, continually expanding her knowledge through courses on self-regulation and emotion coaching. Shannon’s dedication extends beyond academics; striving to provide an environment where every child feels seen and valued.
