Curio Pre-K Classroom
What is it?
Our Pre-K classroom invites children aged 3.5 to 4 to explore, learn, and grow in a nurturing, play-based environment. Each day is a joyful mix of circle time, sensory play, engaged free play, and child-led activities focused on early literacy skills like letter recognition and sounds.
Your little one will thrive alongside our micro-school class, where older kids become mentors and playmates, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. On select days, we take learning outdoors with forest education, encouraging curiosity and a love for nature.
Designed to build confidence, independence, and foundational skills, Curio Pre-K prepares children for their next adventure—whether it’s homeschool or public school—through meaningful, hands-on experiences and the power of play.

This program is perfect for children who thrive in a social, play-based setting and are eager to explore alongside friends. It’s designed for little learners who love hands-on discovery, imaginative play, and the joy of building relationships in a supportive and engaging community.

The perfect prep for Kindergarten at Curio!

PreK is offered 4 days per week, and the monthly tuition fluctuates based on how many days a week you would like your child to attend.
1 day per month: $240
2 days per month: $450
3 days per month: $650
4 days per month: $800
Our Pre-K program runs September – June and follows the same schedule as the Simcoe County District School Board schedule. This includes a two week shut down at Christmas time, March Break and closures for all statutory holidays.
This programs works best with kiddos who can stay with us the full school year. However, should your plans change we require 60 days notice to reduce your childs schedule or to de-enroll them from our program.
