Walking School Bus!

Perfect for kiddos who love to build, create, and explore!

Our after-school program is tailored for active young minds who thrive in hands-on, play-based environments. This program offers a welcoming space for children to wind down after school in meaningful, imaginative ways.

Each week, children will:

• Engage in open-ended, STEAM-inspired activities and crafts
• Explore a rich environment designed to spark creativity and curiosity
• Build, experiment, collaborate, and discover through guided play

To make it easy for families at Horseshoe Heights Public School, our trained Curio facilitators will meet children at the school gymnasium and safely walk them to the recreation centre in our Walking School Bus. From there, the fun begins!

Offered: Tuesdays and Thursday from 3:50pm – 5:30pm

Play with Me!

Play with Me is a delightful play-based class crafted for children under 4 and their caregivers—now offered at Simcoe Woods Community Centre!

Each session begins with a warm and welcoming circle time, where we gather for songs, simple stories, and movement activities that foster connection and set the tone for a fun-filled morning.

Following circle time, families are invited to explore open-ended play zones—inviting spaces filled with age-appropriate toys and imaginative setups designed to nurture curiosity, build early social skills, and spark joy.

We end each class with hands-on arts and crafts, giving little ones a chance to create with colorful and sensory materials. All thoughtfully curated to support creativity and fine motor development.

This program is perfect for families seeking a fun, interactive space to bond, explore, and connect with others in a warm, supportive environment. Whether it’s your child’s very first group experience or part of their regular rhythm, Play with Me offers the ideal balance of structure, creativity, and connection.

Ages: 6 months – 4 years
